Orora is celebrating success in the 2014 Australian Packaging Design Awards having taken home gold, silver and bronze awards from the Packaging Council of Australia’s annual awards ceremony.

Orora Limited is celebrating success in the 2014 Australian Packaging Design Awards having taken home a gold award in the Industrial and Supply Chain category, and silver and bronze awards in the Seasonal and Promotional category from the Packaging Council of Australia’s annual awards ceremony in Melbourne last night. In addition, an Orora entry came highly commended in the Consumer Experience and Emerging Technology category.


The Awards were for the following products:


Entries were assessed on a range of criteria including:

 

  • design and materials
  • environment and sustainability
  • accessibility and consumer interaction, and
  • innovation.

Commenting on the awards, Orora’s Managing Director and CEO Nigel Garrard said “Whilst the satisfaction of delivering packaging that surprises and delights consumers and exceeds the expectations of our customers is on one level reward enough, these awards are great recognition of the forward-thinking of our customers and the tremendous effort of team members.
