Orora today announced the appointment of Peter de Hennin as Group General Manager of the Company’s Paper & Recycling division. The appointment follows Sonny Coleiro’s decision to retire at the end of March.

Mr de Hennin has more than 25 years of leadership and executive experience in the packaging and manufacturing sectors and is currently CEO of Detmold Flexibles.

Commencing with Orora on 22 April, 2014, Mr de Hennin will assume accountability for the ongoing ramp up of the new paper machine in Botany, NSW, and the continued focus on realising the previously announced cost reduction and innovation benefits of the machine.

Nigel Garrard, General Manager & CEO of Orora Limited, paid tribute to Mr Coleiro’s substantial contribution and welcomed Mr de Hennin.

“Sonny has made an exceptional contribution to our company over the last 35 years, and I wish him a very happy retirement.”

“I look forward to welcoming Peter to the Orora Executive Team, and am confident that his experience will position the Paper & Recycling division for ongoing success,” Mr Garrard said.
