Orora is proud to introduce our new Glass Beneficiation Plant, which was officially opened by the Hon Susan Close, South Australia Deputy Premier last month.
Through container deposit schemes, our beneficiation plant collects used glass to create cullet, which is then transferred to our state-of-the-art glass facility to create new glass containers.
Our beneficiation plant will increase our access to recycled glass from across Australia, whilst also improving the quality of glass products by having more control over the mix and quality of the cullet.
We’re pleased to be able to create even more sustainable products with our investment in this plant to deliver to our customers and propel us further to achieving our sustainability goals.
